1. In this lesson, we will see how these verbs in the past work:

INVENT - CREATE - DISCOVER -  FIND 

1. We call upon INVENT to say that you build something, in this case,

Simple present INVENT - Simple past INVENTED 
Electricity was invented by Thomas  Eddison.  

2. CREATE means that you fabricate a contraption or device, etc.

Simple present CREATE - Simple past CREATED

Robert Hutchins Goddard created the rocket in the
United States in 1926. 


3. DISCOVER  refers to uncovering an ancient site, or also locate something that has been hidden for many years.  

Simple present DISCOVER - Simple past DISCOVERED

Humans discovered agriculture in many regions of the world at about the same

time.

4. FIND  is about perceiving something by chance.

Simple present FIND  - Simple past FOUND

In the following section, you will be able to see some regular verbs.

Just remember! we add ed, died, or d at the end of the verb.

For verbs ending in Y, we convert Y into ied at the end.
