Objective: students will recognize quite a few inventions, inventors, and dates at the end of the lesson. 

Communicative objective: students will discuss over the most fulcrum inventions created.

1. Let's start  our lesson by going over some vocabulary words

Measurement of the amount of glucose (sugar) in the blood.
Microchip A miniature electronic circuit used to control computers and most other electronic devices.

HOW DO WE FORM COMPOUND NOUNS? Compound nouns  have two parts.  The  first  part establishes the purpose or the reason of an occupation and the second part  defines the person or the activity as such.
